In the last two weeks we’ve been joined by various visitors including from schools and nature tour operators exploring Azerbaijan.

There has been an astonishing migration of little bustards with nearly 30k individuals counted to date and an unparalleled waterfowl migration for the Western Palearctic.

The icing on the cake has been the superb views of a bunch of species at the station, such as Olive-backed Pipit, Black-throated Thrush, Kittiwakes, Red-fronted Serins, Oriental Turtle Dove, White-winged Larks, Lesser White-fronted Goose, Social Lapwing and many other species in outstanding numbers like day counts of 2000+ Great White Egrets.

And all of this has been shared with an awesome team which makes it even better.
