Just recently the Birding Azerbaijan team received a considerable donation for the Besh Barmag Bird Migration Count from FairWind – a company that plans and implements wind farm projects. Those projects too often contradict the interests of nature and bird conservation. The goal of FairWind is the validity of participation and consideration for humans and the environment. For example, particularly quiet wind turbines can be installed without constant nighttime blinking, along with the implementation of bat and bird protection systems.

Thank you for your efforts, as they achieve much more than what we can accomplish in Northern Germany with bird protection systems and mitigation measures for bird conservation around wind parks.
