First records of Little Bunting published in Sandgrouse

The first records of Little Bunting for Azerbaijan were recently published in the Sandgrouse magazine of the Ornithological Society of the Middle East:

Summary:

During a comprehensive survey of migratory birds at Besh Barmag bottleneck, Azerbaijan, in autumn 2017, a mist-netted juvenile Little Bunting Emberiza pusilla represented the first documented record of this species for the country. Several more records of the species were subsequently found on sound recordings, resulting in a total of seven individuals.
